Clockwork Angel by Cassandra ClareThis is the first book of the prequel-trilogy to the Mortal Instruments series.
At first I thought this was going to turn into a re-write of the original MI series, but I was pleasantly surprised by its individuality. The plot wasn't too deep, but I am looking forward to the next installment, mostly to see the further character development though.
